Zimbabwe’s Warriors qualify for 2021 AFCON to be hosted in Cameroon.

HARARE — ZIMBABWE Warriors have qualified for the 2021 Afcon finals. This is after they dismissed Botswana 1-0 while Zambia failed to get a result against Algeria in a late kick-off.

The Warriors are now on eight points, four clear of Zambia who managed a 3-3 draw with Algeria, with only one round of matches remaining.

Botswana’s Zebras are also on four points.

Algeria had already qualified after the last round of group H matches. Zimbabwe’s qualification becomes a third consecutive, the first time the country has managed to do so.

And this also becomes the fifth time they have qualified for AFCON in the country’s football history.
